The customer’s request is the starting point of every project. Together, an idea is developed and tested with models. The materialisation is defined by means of samples. After that, a prototype is manufactured.

Some projects are suitable for reproduction. Building on the experience of deveolping the prototypes, the product is refined and production is simplified. Sometimes, even industrial production is possible.

Ferien im Baudenkmal

Ferien im Baudenkmal is an organisation that transforms historic buildings worthy of protection into charming holiday homes and thus makes them accessible to the public. The two interior designers who transformed the „Flederhaus“ in Wegenstetten chose the bed ANANA for the bedrooms. Because of the unusually sloping medieval floors, the beds were produced with extra-long legs, shortened on site to fit the uneven floors. Thanks for the commission.

Rennbahnklinik

When the sports clinic Rennbahnklinik moved to a new site, the old building was converted into student flats by Salathé Architects. The ADASDA tables add a dry contrast to the raw concrete and the pine floors and closets. Thanks for the commission.

Fertisuisse

The architect Christoph Ecker chose ADASDA tables for both locations of Fertisuisse. For the Basel clinic, we even designed and manufctured a round version of the table. Cable bushings and special surfaces were incorporated. Thanks for the commission.

Back to overview

Three pieces by kunotechnik have been incorporated into the design collection of the Museum für Gestaltung Zürich. I am honoured that my design legacy is well cared for and accessible to the public.

At the moment I’m interested in pre-industrial woodwork: conical table legs, spars that are finer at the top, funnel-shaped constructions, and, of course, my boat projects.
